Taxus baccata Bence

Height: 0,5–0,6 m

Bence is a special, slow-growing, columnar female yew variety. It has a narrow, columnar shape when young and spreads slightly as it ages, but keeps its compact, elegant form. Its golden yellow foliage stays all year round, and red berries adorn it even when young. Its height can reach 2-2.5 m and its width 0.8 m. It can be planted in a sunny or partly shaded spot. It is not demanding as to soil. Its water needs are moderate. It is excellent as a specimen plant, a hedge or a structural plant in smaller spaces.
